100th post! woohoo!

anyway. finished reading harry potter and the deathly hallows last night. [no spoilers, just my views on the book,]

it was pretty disappointing, and anti-climatic. but then again, after all that hype, almost anything would have been anti-climatic. imo though, it was badly written and seemed like it was haphazardly put together just so the 7-year saga could end. it felt a bit like rowling was merely rushing towards the end for the sake of it. characters felt a bit flat, and awkward, at some points. but to give her credit, i thought she did a pretty good job of typing up the loose ends in the books.

ah well, it's over now, and nobody who cares about harry and his secret world will be left wondering about what happened/is happening/will happen next.

till next time,
a-slightly-more-than-a-little-disappointed crunch.
