hello everyone!
happy chinese new year! ((:
haha. okay anyway. i realize i haven't blogged in nearly a month, but i am back (with a vengence)! haha no, kidding. ((: it feels good to be back here. in cyberspace. typing random nonsense that few will read. haha.
la la la the world is perfect. i feel very happy. ((: listening to happy songs. and not worrying (as much) about the ton of undone work there is to be done. haha. because take.5 is over! haha yay!
i suppose i will eventually start missing take.5 tremendously. like how i missed orientation for ages and ages after. but take.5 was so much more saikang and annoying, so i won't really miss it that much. i think. haha. but nevermind. there are many other things coming up to be occupied with so i shan't miss it much. but i will obviously remember all the nonsense we went through together.
the whole sentosa-ccab-sentosa-ccab-school-ccab nonsense.
the last minute proposals we rushed out because the school wanted them.
emergency meetings.
sleeping in the council room 'cause we were all so shagged.
worrying because nobody was signing up for talentime, even until the day before.
spamming people online to tell them to sign up for talentime.
dealing with difficult people who wanted to sign up for talentime even after signups had closed.
managing with lousy equipment for auditions.
dealing with ridiculous time constraints that got all the bands revolting against us.
then the very same bands complaining about the extended time.
various other hiccups that i will gladly complain about if you ask me, but won't mention here for fear of my life.
staying overnight at ccab.
walking around ccab barefoot.
listening to random people complain and complain and make my life difficult.
blowing balloons at 5+
rushing around like mad on the day itself looking for performances to go on stage because we were 30 minutes ahead of schedule, when during rehearsals we were like 2 hours behind schedule.
haha. it was annoying while it lasted, but now it's all safely locked up in my memory box.
and i just wanna thank a few people. i'm sure i won't be able to remember everyone now, given my terrible memory, but i shall try:
firstly, tiger! thanks for being such a calm, and steady co-IC. and sorry for angsting you when things weren't going as planned.
hanis darling! thanks for really helping me remember stuff to do (me being the absentminded freak that i am) and being such a great overall IC.
my talentime comm! jingyu, xiong, kalpy, wanchee, muthu, yangtong! haha thanks for all your help during auditions and rehearsals and dry runs and tech runs and everything. sorry for angsting you guys as well.
my darling logs ICs timo (yellowboy!) and reshma! haha seriously, thank you for handling all the logs. one less giant headache to deal with. (:
av club! for all their help during our auditions and tech runs and everything. (:
jazz club! for loaning us equipment during auditions and all the various rehearsals we had in school even though it was really troublesome for them.
raffles rock! for also loaning us equipment for auditions and dry runs and everything.
the rest of take.5 comm for being so supportive and helping out whenever they could!
all my wonderful friends who kept telling me to rest and relax and don't stress and sleep more and everything.
chloe for being my angsting partner and so much more (haha this sounds wrong).

ms chua and ms veera - for being the absolute best teacher ICs anyone could ask for. for agreeing to all our ridiculous demands and nonsense and for EVERYTHING.
talentime participants - everyone who auditioned and everything! thank you because talentime wouldn't have been such a huge success without you.
our lovely judges mr vadi, mr wee and mrs chia - for judging!
our performing groups chinese dance, wu shu, lion dance and jazz club! for putting up such a spectacular performance.
everyone else who contributed in one way or another to the success of talentime and take.5!

haha okay anyway. enough of take.5, the ultramega function that turned out okay anyway. ((:

haha. okay i'm being quite random. and since i'm into this whole list thing, i shall go ahead and make an ugly list of work to be done over the next few days. haha. pretty much all the work since like forever. haha.

haha wow, this post has taken me like.....FOREVER (1 hr and 2 minutes) to do. haha. amidst random convos with people which have all died down... how sad. haha.
