yesterday was an interestingly eventful day. three random people asked me if i was pregnant. it was highly amusing.
"good afternoon mam. is there any chance that you may be pregnant? okay, good."
"hello miss. are you pregnant? no? then please sign this to indicate that you're not pregnant."
"miss, are you sure you're not pregnant?"
haha. after the first two times i was quite tempted to reply with a "hmm, well, i wasn't pregnant five minutes ago, but i might have concieved in the time that passed since you last asked."
it was an amusing experience, to say the least. well, at least it kept me entertained for a while. haha.
okay, if you're wondering why in heaven's name random people were suddenly questioning the vacancy of my uterus (to put it strangely haha my england damn powderfulzzz ah), it was largely because i had to be x-rayed, and the radiation from the x-ray machine would have spoiled any potential baby that may have been occupying my uterus (this may or may not be entirely wrong, i have no idea about the workings of x-ray machines and their effects on potential people). of course, it may have been that the strange personnel at the clinic are merely strange (to put it mildly) and just want to know (for their own sick fantasies) if i'm pregant. hmm. why they would care if i was pregnant, however, is beyond me. haha.
uh. okay, weird paragraph.
i'm becoming exceedingly random now.
in other news, if you didn't already know, tomorrow is deepavali/diwali/festival of lights/whatever-else-you-want-to-call-it. so exciting. this year's diwali (i use this 'cause it's easier to type, no other reason) is becoming more and more exciting. my sister's getting hyped up over it, for one. which hasn't happened in a while. so that's exciting. haha. and diwali is really quite fun. all the dressing up and being glam and foooodgloriousfoooooood! don't be surprised if a pumpkin comes to school on monday claiming to be me. haha. diwali diwali diwali! exciting. last year's diwali was very hmm nice. i wore a pretty pretty sari and floated around being glam and not doing work because my sari was cream-coloured and nobody wanted to get it dirty. some strange logic. haha. it was EXCITING. this year also gonna be damn exciting. woohoo!
la la la la la okay change topic bored with the topic of diwali already. haha.
ah. i realize i didn't mention why i needed an x-ray. well. i sprained my right ankle! it was super excitingly painful. but exciting nonetheless. during training. i was spiking the ball *winkwinkwink* and i jumped, and landed oddly, with my foot being umm bent at an odd angle. obviously it swelled to at least twice its size almost immediately. it's still swollen now. (: but the golf ball that i hid under my skin on wednesday is gone, so yay! haha. it was supremely exciting. but my ankle still hurts. and um, i forgot what else i was gonna say.
okay now i shall go watch the lousy vasantham central diwali programmes and laugh my ass off because they suck! woohoo!
[edit] oh, i remember what i was gonna say. i was gonna say that i will look fugly wearing a pretty sari and an ugly banadage tomorrow, but it can't be helped, so nevermind. also, my swollen-elephantlike foot has a name. THE fugly. courtesy of mannu. who played cool-ly during bowling at sranj's place today. but not as cool-ly as ani mummy, who completely tHrashed the rest of us. haha. yepyep. much love to sranj to kindly allowing us to crash her house on such short notice. haha.
okay, bye my lowesssss-es!
happy deepavali/diwali/festival of lights/whatever-else-you-wanna-call-it!
